The book, Ancestry of Charles Stinson Pillsbury and John Sargent Pillsbury, on page 267 states that Isaac died in 1684 and was only 44. It gives the full text of his will that was written in Mar 1684 and proved in court in Ipswich on 14 Apr 1684. Proving of a will was done after a person had died. The will is verified so the probate may proceed. Probate was delayed because one of the executors, his son Samuel, died, and the other executor, his widow, petitioned the court that a committee be formed to administer his will as she was unable to do so. A committee was formed by the court, and the estate was finally divided on 23 Feb 1725/26.
