Chauncey Eppley March 29th page 2. Chauncey K Eppley, 84, died last night in a local rest home following a long illness. A native of Knox County, Ohio, he moved to Watsonville 25 years ago after retiring from the Ohio
Highway Maintenance division. Mr. Eppley made his home at 7 Nona Ave,
Freedom. He leaves two sons, Paul and Kenneth, both of Watsonville; a
daughter, Theda Dubois of Santa Cruz; a brother, Charley Eppley of
Ohio; two
sisters, Mrs. Alice McClead and Mrs. Lottie Auten, both of Ohio; four
grandchildren, Richard Eppley of New Mexico, Mrs. Charlotte Walters of
San
Jose, and Gary and Alan ewers, both of Santa Cruz; four
great-grandchildren,
and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:30
am
Friday at Mehl's Colonial Chapel, the Rev. Forrest W Lumdsen
officiating.
Burial will be in Pajaro Valley Memorial Park. The family request
donations
to the Crippled Children's Society.
