Mrs. Gleaton, who before her marriage as Miss Mollie Frances May was born in Green, Georgia on 26 March 1856. She married L.C. Gleaton in January 1878 in Alabama. In 1891, she came with her husband to Comanche County and they settled in the White Point community, where they made their home until the death of her husband. Mrs. Gleaton died at the home of her son, George Gleaton in Comanche. Services were held at the graveside conducted by Rev. J.E. Gardner and Rev. J.L. Ray. Her six sons were the pallbearers. She was the mother of 11 children, eight who survive her - Lucius Gleaton, Jim Gleaton, George Gleaton, Howell Gleaton, Leon Gleaton, Walter Gleaton, Mrs. Oscar Arthur, Mrs. Earl Bartlett.
