Desmer Alexander died in a fire at his home in the Redlick community, near Berea.
He is survived by his wife, the former Edna Broughton, a son Donald and daughters Carol, Wanda and Judy; and siblings twin Esmer, Mary Susie, Johnny and Neva.
He was a son of the late Alvin and May Webb Alexander.
