Walker, Ks. -- Clem Griese, 79, of rural Walker, died Thursday afternoon at St. Anthony Hospital in Hays. Mr. Griese was born July 20, 1898 at Walker.
Services were at 10 a.m. today at St. Ann's Church, Walker, with burial in the church cemetery. A parish wake was set at 8 p.m. Sunday at Cline's Mortuary, Victoria, which was in charge of arrangements.
He married Josephine Werth Oct. 1, 1928.
She survives, as do two daughters, Mary Jeane, of the home, and Mrs. Wayne (Marjorie) Bechard, of Springfield, Mo.; 2 grandchildren; and two brothers, Fred of Russell and Bill of Big Spring, Tex.
