Mr. Kohlmiller Dies at Age 75 Robert H. "Pop" Kohlmiller, 75, of Kelly Green Acres, Route 3, Edwardsville, died at 11:07 AM Wednesday in St. Anthony's Hospital in Alton.

He had been ill the past year. He worked as a stationary engineer at the International Shoe Company, Hartford, for 43 years, retiring in 1965. He also worked for the Kohlmiller Construction Company in Edwardsville. He'd been in Edwardsville resident for seven years, previously residing in Wood River for 43 years.

Born March 14, 1899 in Alton, he was the son of the late Fred and Hattie Lincoln Kohlmiller.

He was married to Caroline Huebner on May 27, 1925. She survives. Other survivors include sons George of Moro, and Eugene and Ronald both of Edwardsville; a daughter Mrs. Cleo (Mildred) Kruckeberg of Edwardsville; brothers Leonard of Wood River, Fred of Staunton and Edmund of Fairview Heights; sisters Mrs. Sara Schillinger of Hartford, Mrs. Viola Stinson of Roseville, Michigan, Mrs. Alvina Lindley of Pocahontas and Mrs. Harriet Malvitz of Granite City; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A sister who died in infancy and a brother preceded him in death. He was a 50 year member of the Knights of Pythias of Wood River and a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Wood River.

Friends may call at the Lesley Marks Funeral Home after 6 PM today. The funeral service will be at 2 PM Saturday in the funeral home with the Rev. Victor M Frohne officiating. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Midway.
