O. E. ABBIE DIES MONDAY
Osa Edward (Ted) Abbie, 57, died Monday in a Hillsboro Hospital. He was a native of Henderson County and he was a Baptist. He was weave shop foreman at the Hillsboro Cotton Mill.
Services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Corley Chapel. The rites conducted by Rev. Mickey Loftis, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife, Margie of Hillsboro; two sons, James Abbie of Corpus Christi and Robert Abbie of Waxahachie; one daughter, Mrs. A. C. (Lea) Murray of DeSoto; mother, Mrs. Nora Abbie of Corsicana; three brothers, Farris Abbie of Malakoff, Will Abbie and Jack Abbie both of Corsicana; one sister Mrs. Flora Connell of Corsicana and 10 grandchildren.
