Julian Clark Wilson, age 84, of Levy Road, Paris, Kentucky passed away Monday, May 10, 2010 at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington. He was born in Montgomery County, Kentucky on February 10, 1926 the son of the late Clarence and Iva Lee Turner Wilson. He was a farmer, a U. S. Army veteran having served in WW II in Europe, and served as an Elder at the Peyton's Lick Christian Church where he was a member of 70 years. He was the widower of Betty Bowles Wilson.

He is survived by two sons, Jimmy C. (Janet) Wilson of Stamping Ground, KY and Earl D. (Susan) Wilson of Georgetown, KY; one daughter, Cathy (Don) Leary of Richmond, KY; two brothers, Harold (Lucille) Wilson and Roger (Beulah) Wilson both of Mt. Sterling; one sister, Colleen Warren of Mt. Sterling; several nieces and nephews; three grandchildren, James Eric (Jessica) Leary of Louisville, KY, Carol Ann (Chris) Morrison of Stamping Ground, KY, and James Christopher (Sara) Wilson of Georgetown, KY and two great grandchildren, Emma Morrison and Lilly-Anne Wilson.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Virgil Wilson.

Funeral services were 11 AM, Thursday, May 13, 2010 at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chuck Perry officiating and burial following in the Machpelah Cemetery. Friends may visit Wednesday evening from 5-9 PM at the Taul Funeral Home. Pallbearers were his nephews, Jerry Wilson, Steve Wilson, Keith Wilson, Eddie Wilson, Ronnie Wilson, and Joe Wilson. Honorary pallbearers were Elders and Deacons of the Peyton's Lick Christian Church.
