Services for Fordie S. Pevey, 73, of Rt. 6 Natchez, will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Laird Funeral Home. Pevey died Friday, Oct. 10, 1980 at Jefferson Davis Memorial Hospital. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. He was a native of Mississippi and was retired from Armstrong Tire and Rubber Co. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lena May Pevey of Natchez; one daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Graves of Natchez; two sons, Mike Pevey of Natchez and Wilton Pevey of Biloxi; one brother, Ray Pevey of Natchez; two sisters, Mrs. Donnis Sturgis of Natchez and Mrs. Ray Woodruff of Illinois; 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Fordie Pevey, Marlie Pevey, Robert Graves, Don Seagrove, Donnie Pevey, and James Ray Bradshaw. Laird Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
