**He was a native of England, born in Yorkshire on October 5, 1869. For the past 17 years he had been a resident of Washington State. A member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, he also belonged to the United Spanish War Veterans.Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Ida Harkins of Pomeroy, and a brother John D Yeoman of Fremont, Ia.
