Wakefield – Dorothy L. Iskra, 80, of Wakefield, died Sunday, Nov. 7, 1999, in Ironwood. She was born May 29, 1919, in Houghton, daughter of the late Christopher and Henrietta (Hermann) Kehl.

She attended Houghton schools. Dorothy had lived in Wakefield for the past 15 years, coming from Anvil Location. She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Ramsay. On Oct. 22, 1939, she married Steve Iskra. He preceded her in death on Aug. 12, 1993.

Survivors include a son, Stephen (Anita), Colorado Springs, Colo.; a daughter, Margaret (Robert) Berg, Ramsay, five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Kehl, a sister, Margaret Szten; and an n infant granddaughter, Jamie Berg.

Funeral services will be held Wed. Nov. 10, 15 1 p.m. at out Redeemer Lutheran Church, Ramsay, with the Rev. Kevin Ader officiating.
