OBITUARY :
ROBERT MILTON FERGUSON, 82, Waynesboro Route 3, died Friday afternoon in the Waynesboro Hospital. He had been in failing health for the past few years and his condition became critical in the past two weeks.

He was born at Friends Creek, Adams County, Pa., son of the late Jerome and Mary Bailey Ferguson. He lived his early life in the Leitersburg District and had been employed in the shops at Waynesboro. He had lived in the vicinity of Waynesboro for the greater part of his life where he farmed for 38 years. For the past nine years he lived with his son, Walter K. Ferguson, Waynesboro Route 1, until death of his wife, Laura Diehl Ferguson, in 1953. Since then he had made his home with his daughters, at Waynesboro Route 3.

He was a member of the Blue Mountain Church of God. These children survive:Mrs. John Stuller, Greensburg; Walter K. Ferguson, Waynesboro Route 1; Mrs. George F. Morganthal, Waynesboro Route 4; Mrs. Elmer J. Shifflett, Smithsburg; Mrs. Roy I. Berger, Waynesboro Route 3; Mrs. Joseph L. Eberly, Baltimore; Mrs. Roy B. Miller, Waynesboro; Mrs. George K. Chambers, Upton; also 21 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren; one brother, Harry Ferguson, Havre De Grace, Md.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from Grove funeral home in Waynesboro in charge of Rev. C. W. McGaha and the Rev. Roy Brubaker. Burial will be made in the Germantown Bethel Church cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home this evening from 7 until 9 o'clock.
