Mrs. Eagles, 86, of Pineville passed away, Sunday, February 25, 2007 in Naomi Heights Nursing Home.
She was a member of Kingsville Baptist Church and had lived in Pineville for 23 years. Mrs. Merle Eagles was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, she loved her church and enjoyed working with and ministering to young adults. Her life was filled with acts of service to others and she brought joy to those who knew her.
Preceded in death by her husband, Harry C. Eagles; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Eagles; parents, George Washington and America Welch Monk.
Those left to cherish her memory include sons, Paul S. Eagles and wife, Kathie of Vicksburg, MS, Harry C. Eagles and wife, Mary of Pineville; grandsons, Matthew Eagles and James Eagles of Vicksburg, MS, Clayton Eagles and Benjamin Eagles of Pineville.
Friends may call Tuesday at Hixson Brothers, Pineville from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until service time.
