According to her Washington state death certificate, "Leona Emcelia Witter" was the daughter of B. F. Guiberson and her mother had the maiden name of Garlinger. She died of influenza.

"MRS MYRON E. WHITTER DIES

Mrs, Myron Earle Whitter, a former resident of Kent, died at Waterville, Wash., Monday night. Mrs. Whitter was formerly Miss Leona Guiberson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Guiberson, of 2712 East Roy Street. She was born in Kent and was 27 years old. Following her marriage, eighteen months ago, Mrs. Whitter made her home in Waterville. She is survived by her husband, Myron Earle Witter (sic), her parents, one sister and four brothers. The body was taken to Seattle and funeral services held this afternoon. Mr. C. E. Guiberson of this place attended the services."
