Death of T. J. Phillips.
Thomas J. Phillips, a prosperous farmer of Evington, died yesterday morning at 11 o'clock at his home from a complication of diseases, aged 66. Mr. Phillips was a native of Lynchburg and was well known here. He was a member of the Salem Methodist church at Evington, and in addition to his wife is survived by the following children, Norman, of Staunton; Thomas, of Lynchburg; Joseph, Payne, Lawrence, Bass, Paul and Misses Avia and Nettie Phillips, all of Evington.
The funeral services will be held this afternoon from the Salem church.
