Anderson, SC – Betty Lou Bradley Hare, 75, wife of the Reverend Donald Hare for 59 years, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at her residence.

A native of Asheville, NC, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Garfield and Ida Owensby Bradley and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Todd Hare, brothers, Eldon, Furman, Ancel and L.G. Bradley and a sister, Frances Bradley Williams.

Mrs. Hare was a member of Family of Faith while residing in Asheville and High Praises after moving to Anderson. She was a devoted Christian and loving wife and mother.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Keith Hare and his wife Mary, of Anderson, four granddaughters, Elisha Todd Owens, Ali Hare Baker, Anna Hare Hall, Mitzie Todd Corbin; eight great-grandchildren, Taylor Owens, Jacob Owens, Zeke Corbin, Abigail Corbin, Olivia Hall, Elinor Baker, Isabel Baker, Reese Hall, two sisters, Ethelyn Dotson and Lillian Hare and two brothers, Franklin Bradley and Mitchell Bradley.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Saturday in Chapel Hill Baptist Church conducted by the Reverends James King and Walter Hare. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
