Charles Curtis Cronin born November 2, 1923 passed away on May 8, 2010 peacefully at home after a battle with cancer. Charlie went home to be with his precious Lord, and joined his loving wife, Bertha Lewis Cronin, and son, Jeffrey Scott Cronin. Charlie married Bertha in 1943 and shared over 61 cherished years together. Charlie loved his country and served in the United States Navy during World War II. He retired from Bryant Heating in Indianapolis after working there for 25 years. He then worked as a janitor for 10 years for Indian Creek Christian Church, Indianapolis, IN., retiring at the age of 78. He and Bertha passionately served from 1974 – 1994 as missionaries and prayer partners for the Bible Institute for Christian Missions. They served both in Guyana and the Island of Carasau. Charlie faithfully served the Lord in a number of churches as a leader, teacher and Elder and dearly treasured his home church and church family, Indian Creek Christian Church. His testimony was his glow of the love of God which always shown on his face and all who loved him, both family and his many friends, felt that glow on them. Charlie also had a love of woodworking and spent many hours making gifts for family and friends. Charlie was a devoted husband and father who spent his life loving his family unconditionally.
