Elizabeth W. Smith, 93, of Marietta (former resident of Drew, MS) died Monday, May 10, 2010.

Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Drew, Mississippi, with interment in Drew City Cemetery.

Elizabeth grew up in Utica, Mississippi the oldest child of Rev. & Mrs. Owen Williams. She was a graduate of Blue Mountain College.

She is survived by her daughter, Betty Darden of Marietta; three sons, Curtis Smith & his wife, Deborah of Hattiesburg, MS, Owen Smith of Austin, TX, and David Smith & his wife, Suzanne Winckler of Embarrass, MN; two sisters, Rachel Miller of Chapel Hill, NC; Cissi McChesney of Minneapolis, MN; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and one daughter-in-law, Debbie Smith, wife of John.

Mrs. Smith was predeceased by her son, John Smith.

Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home & Crematory in Marietta, Georgia was in charge of arrangements.
