Adolph Kanning, 66, died Thursday evening in the Sheridan Memorial Hospital.
He was born April 6, 1906, in Balfour, N. Dak., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Kanning. He was raised there and in 1919 came to Montana, settling in Wolf Creek.
He married Luella Kirkely, Oct. 25, 1933, in Plentywood. They farmed in Wolf Creek. He married Dora Jensen, Oct. 7, 1966, in Reserve. He farmed until last spring when he retired.
Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Haugen of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Mrs. Shirley Hines of Issaquah, Wash.; three brothers, Fred of Devon, George of Plentywood, and Benjamin of Flaxville; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Severson of Flaxville, and seven grandchildren.
Services in the Plentywood Lutheran church. Burial in Flaxville cemetery.
