Mr. Grigsby was a native of Winnfield, but had lived in Shreveport seven years and was a retired employe of Confederate Memorial Medical Center. His earlier career was with the State Highway Department and U.S. Civil Service.
Survivors include four sons, W. M. Grigsby of Lake Charles, Ed Grigsby of Winnfield, and Joe and U. S. Grigsby of Shreveport; three daughters, Mrs. W. H. Blakewood, Liberty, Miss., Mrs. S. W. Dickerson of Shreveport, and Mrs. T. R. Stafford of Baton Rouge; one brother, Earl Grigsby of Baton Rouge; one sister, Mrs. E. A. Brackin of Minden; 12 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
