Louise Bielke, born Lois Katherine Bealka, 86, died Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at Friendship Manor Nursing Home, Shakopee.

Funeral service is Friday, June 8, 11 a.m., at St John's Lutheran Church, Fourth & Oak Street, Chaska with visitation Thursday, June 7 from 4-7 p.m. at the Bertas Funeral Home, 200 West Third Street, Chaska and also one hour prior to the service at church. The Rev. Greg Snow will be the officiant. Interment is at St John's Lutheran Cemetery, Chaska.

Louise was born June 29, 1920 in Chaska to Emil and Agnes (Duschka) Bielke Sr., one of six children. She attended Chaska High School and after graduation had been a resident of the Twin Cities prior to her return to Chaska. She was a Girl Scout Leader and a City Assessor earlier in her life. Louise worked for an insurance company as office manager, a real estate agent and a bookkeeper at the Carver County Bank. She also had been an Avon sales representative for over five years. She was a member of St John's Lutheran Church, its Young People's Society, and the Ladies Aid. She was past president of the American Legion Auxiliary and the V.F.W. Auxiliary. She enjoyed painting, a variety of crafts, and was an accomplished seamstress, sewing for herself and her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Norman Bielke, Emil Bielke Jr., Kenneth, Lester, and Robert Bielke.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Johannah of Chaska; nieces, Kathryn Roper, Caryl Charriere, and Jane Bielke Loll; nephews, Dr Neil Bealka, Robert Bealka, Dr Dennis "Skip" Bealka, Scott Bielke and Mark Bielke; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Bielke.
