Guy E. Burkhart, 75, of 110 N. Walnut St., Wakarusa, died at 9:55 a.m. Wednesday at Elkhart General Hospital.

He was born July 17, 1897 in Mishawaka and had worked for NIBCO Inc., retiring in 1965. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church, Wakarusa, and was a Mason at Bristol F&AM and a 32nd Degree Mason South Bend. He was a member of George Washington Masonic Lodge No. 325 Bristol.

He married Cleo Harrington on Oct. 2, 1923. She survives with a daughter, Mrs. Matthew (Eileen) Gianinno, Cleveland, Ohio; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Two children preceded him in death, Delores, 1942 and William, 1967.

Friends will be received at Leinhart funeral Home after 7 p.m. today. There will be a Masonic service at 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturaday at Bible Baptist Church. The Rev. Bill Lincoln, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Olive Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Bible Baptist Church.
