Homes in Biloxi.
GULFPORT--- Robert Carl Ferrill, Sr., 81, died Wednesday, January 23, 2002 in
Gulfport.
Mr. Ferrill was born in Moss Point and was a lifelong resident of the Coast. He
served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a commercial fisherman and retired
from Ingalls Shipyard. Mr. Ferrill was a Lutheran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence Elizabeth McVay Ferrill; a son,
Marvin J. Ferrill; two sisters, Levinia Stevenson, Florence Forter.
Survivors include a daughter, Eunice L. Nash of Biloxi; two adopted daughters,
Angie Ferrill and Amanda Ferrill, both of Lizana; five sons, Robert C. Ferrill,
Jr. of Louisiana, Edward J. Ferrill, Sr., George H. Ferrill, Sr., Clarence D.
Ferrill, Paul R. Ferrill, all of Biloxi; 15 grandchildren; and 18
great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2002 at the Howard Avenue Chapel
of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi, with burial in Biloxi City
Cemetery.
