Funeral services were held at 4 o'clock Wednesday afternoon for A.L. Burnett, who died in a local hospital at 11:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, after an illness of ten days. The services were held in Frisco cemetery in Perry county wirh Rev. Pettis officiating.
Mr. Burnett was 78 years of age and a resident of Richston at the time of his death. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Harriet Burnett; five sons; Will, Duncan, Joe, Charles and James T. Burnett, all of Richton; one daughter, Mrs. Laura E. Walters, Moselle.
The pallbearers were; L. K. Buckalew, J. C. Smith, L. C. Smith, J. E. Elkins, Griffin Walley and J. R. Meadows.
