MRS. LUCY HITE, SUNBURY RESIDENT

Mrs. Lucy V. Hite, 66, of 153 Lombard Street, Sunbury, widow of Earl Hite, died in her sleep at her home this morning.

Mrs. Hite was born in Northumberland July 31, 1895, a daughter of the late George and Jennie Zimmerman. She formerly was employed by the Susquehanna Silk Mills.

Her husband preceded her in death 25 years ago.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Sunbury, The Sunbury Moose Lodge Auxiliary, Pocohontas Lodge, Dames of Malta, both of Sunbury, Rockefeller Grange, and Sunbury Golden Age Club.

Surviving are two children, Miss Grace Moore, of Wilkes-Barre, and Mrs. Borman of Virginia, and the following sisters, Mrs. Margaret Miller and Mrs. Dorothy Troutman, both of Sunbury; Mrs. Harriet Kler, Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. Grace Andrus, Binghamton, N.Y.; and Mrs. Ruth Ferguson of Wyndham, N.Y.

Services will be held from Dornsife Funeral Home, Sunbury, Thursday, at 1:30 p.m., in charge of Rev. Dr. Walter B. Freed, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church, Sunbury.

Burial will be in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.

Friends will be received at the funeral home Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
