George W. Stewart was the son of Oliver Stewart and Cornelia Crider Stewart. George is a direct descendant from the Royal House of Stewart, which ruled England and Scotland. George first married Jessie Mcfarland and had one son, Charles Edward Stewart b. 11/24/33. George then married Reva Gilley on October 25, 1941. They had 8 children: 1.Billy Ray b.4/22/43, 2. James Edward b.10/01/44, 3.Robert Eugene b.12/17/45, 4.Betty Sharon b.9/08/48, 5.George W. Jr. b.1/27/50, 6.Judith Kathryn b.5/07/, 7.Roger Dale b.4/13/54, 8.Sandra Gail b.5/12/55. They were divorced on October 24, 1961. George died of cancer in April 1971.
