That Edward was aged 52, a wallpaper hanger, and was married at the age of 45. He was born in Iowa, his father was born in Ohio and mother in Michigan. His wife Ester F. was age 29, married at the age of 22 in Missouri, her father was born in Pennsylvania and mother in Indiana. Son Harold R., age 5, born in Iowa, attended school.

Harry Whitmore of Darlington, Gentry County, Missouri, over the age of 21 and Esther Windle of Albany, Gentry County, Missouri, over the age of 18, were married by Charles P. Murphy, Minister, on April 1, 1939 in Darlington, MO. [Source: marriage record]
