Mrs. George W. Alcock, 74 years old, a well known and highly esteemed woman of the Forest neighborhood, died at her home there Friday night, death resulting from the infirmities of old age. She was a member of the Baptist church at that place and the funeral service was conducted from the church Sunday morning at 11 o'clock, interment being made in the church cemetery.
