According to family tree records, George Patton Golleher was the son of Rufus Golleher with his third wife, Mary E. Avery. George is interred with his spouse, Annie E. McKinney Golleher (linked below), whom he married on April 12, 1908 in Lonoke County, Arkansas. Their union produced 12 documented children: Charlie, Maymie Elizabeth, Alvin Rufus, Ruby, twins Allie M. and Elmer L., twins Tressie N. and Jessie George, Chester, Loyd J., Edward James, and Ola. Edward was their last surviving child, having passed away in March 2008. At least six of their children (Maymie, Allie, Elmer, Tressie, Loyd, Edward, and most likely Charlie) are also interred at Hamilton Cemetery.

Census records indicate that neither George nor Annie could read or write. This is supported for George since he did not sign his World War I Draft Card in 1918, instead only placing an "X" as his mark. At this time, he is age 36, and his place of residence was listed as Carlisle, Arkansas (Lonoke County).

At the time of his World War I Draft Registration, the Registrar's Report, dated September 12, 1918, describes him as tall height, slender build, with blue eyes and dark hair. His occupation is listing as farming.

George and Annie were married just over 25 years when he passed away in 1933 at age 51. Annie survived him for 43 years and was laid to rest at his side at Hamilton Cemetery when she passed away in 1976.
