VERNA ELLEN FIELDER
Whitesboro-Services for Verna Ellen Fielder, 85 year old Whitesboro resident who died Saturday in a Sherman Hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Huff Funeral Chapel.
The Rev. Don Westbrook of Gainesville will officiate and burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery at Whitesboro.
Mrs. Fielder was born in Brown County, the daughter of Joseph William and Martha Azzlee Chesser Quirl and married Ben David Fielder in 1920 in Grayson County.
She was a member of the Holiness Church of Jesus Christ.
Surviving are daughters, Almeda Goode and Jackie Holt, both of Gainesville and Janelle Adams of Whitesboro; stepson, Vester Fielder of Sherman; sisters, Lora Teague and Mrs. J. C. Westbrook of Whitesboro; 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will be pallbearers.
