Mrs. Lillian E. (Cline) Adams, 58, of 106 East North Street, wife of William G. Adams Jr., died at 4:40 a.m. today at her home. She had been in falling health since August, 1953 and was critically ill since May 1956 suffering from leu­kemia. She was born at Highfield, Md., a daughter of Harry and Mae Fltz Cline. Her early life was lived at Highfield. In her early teens, fol­lowing the death of her father, she was employed at the Maryland State Sanitorium, Sabillasvjlle, and was last employed at the choco­late factory near Cascade. Mr. and Mrs. Adams were mar­ried in May, 1924, and in the year following their marriage, they moved to Waynesboro, where they had since resided. She was a member of the Epis­copal Church of the Transfiguration. Blue Ridge Summit. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons: William G. Adams Jr., Waynesboro; Rob­ert W. Adams of Media, Pa., and Kenneth M. Adams,, at home; her mother, and the following brothers and sisters: Charles Cline, James Cllne, Robert Cline, Howard Cline, Miss Mary Cline, all of Waynes­boro and a half-sister, Mrs. Rose Crilley, Waynesboro. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Grove Funeral Home. Interment will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
