I remember Jackie from the time she was born. She was my sister's daughter. Jackie was always a fun person to be around. She was always laughing about something when she was growing up.

She loved her family and was very devoted to them. When she got married she always talked about her children and grandchildren. She was very proud of them. Her husband was her greatest joy.

At a young age Jackie was involved with barrel racing in all the rodeos around where she lived. She loved that and won many awards in the rodeos. If she lost a race she would be the first to pat the winner on the back. Jackie loved to play basketball in high school and was very good at that also.

Jackie loved life and everyone in her life but most of all and above all she loved her Lord Jesus. I never heard her complain when she knew that she was about to die. She was ready. She lived for several years knowing that her illness could and would come back some day. When it did she faced it with the strength she had from her Lord God in Heaven.

I saw Jackie just three months before she passed away at her mother's funeral. She was laughing just like she had never been sick a day in her life. Those who knew Jackie will always remember her and those that loved her will always have a smile as they remember and talk about her.
