MRS. NANCY DAVISON DIES AT AGE OF 82

Mrs. Nancy Davison, 82, of Monroe, widow of Marcellus Davison, died at 1:45 p.m. Saturday at the Cooper Rest Home. She had suffered a stroke in April, 1957 and had been critically ill the last four weeks. Born April 10, 1880 (sic) in Mercer County, Ohio MRs. Davison was the daughter of Elihu C. and Rachel Allspaugh Johnson. Her marriage to Mr. Davison took place November 11, 1899 at Willshire, Ohio. He died in 1946. Mrs. Davison was a member of the Monroe Methodist Church. Surviving are two sons, Rev. Ralph E. Davison, of New Paris, Ill., and Albert J. of Pleasant Mills; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred L. Miller of Washington, D. C., and Mrs. Ceceile Schindler of Berne; three sisters, Mrs. Clara Lemar of Huntington, Mrs. Euphemia Grace Buck of New Haven and Mrs. Mary Johnson of Bluffton; two half-brothers, Dillon Johnson of Bunker Hill and Walter O. Johnson of Springfield, Ohio; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Yager Funeral Home at Berne. The body will be taken to the Monroe Methodist Church at noon Tuesday for services at 2 p.m. Rev. Claude Mc Callister will officiate and Burial will be in the Elm Grove Cemetery east of Bluffton.
