Son of Cornelius Virgil and Nye Wilson Adams. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War, retired crop duster and farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Gurleen Adams, one son, Neil Adams and a daughter, Patricia Bright.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Huneycutt Adams; two sons, Richard Adams and Russell Adams, Sharon's son Ed Arrington; two sisters, Vera Muiles and Pearl Chafe; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be held 1:30 PM Wednesday May 12 in the Richwoods Cemetery near Arkadelphia with Dr. Marvin Pate officiating.Visitation will be after the service in the Richwoods Baptist Church.
