Adolphus Trussell passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, May 5, 2010.
Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Westridge Baptist Church, 1700 N. Hwy 161, Grand Prairie. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the church.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to his church home of 56 years, Westridge Baptist Church.
Adolphus was born in Pattsville, Ark., on Sept. 2, 1921. He was a World War II veteran of the European theater and retired from LTV after 33 years.
Survivors: His wife of 63 years, Bonnie; son, Richard and wife Jan; daughter, Joan Lamar and husband, Donnie; son, Ricky and wife, JoAnna; grandchildren, Sean, Bryan, Shelley, Joshua, Lauren, Jesse, Nathan and Jenna; and seven great-grandchildren.
