Wayne Nordstrom, 44, a resident of Hastings, Nebraska for several years and an employee of the Burlington Railroad, died Monday morning in a Lincoln, Nebraska hospital. He had been receiving treatment there since June 23 when he was injured in a fall from a pole while he was working in the Holdrege, NE rail yards.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday in the First Presbyterian Church in Hastings by Dr. Leslie Sweetland. Burial will be in a Hastings Cemetery, with Masonic rites conducted by the Hastings Masonic Lodge.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mary, and a son, Leland, at home, as well as his mother who lives in Lincoln, NE.
