"Clifford A. Reitz
Clifford A. Reitz, 63, 2120 E. Bacon Road, Hillsdale, Mich., died Tuesday afternoon, April 19, 1983, at his home, following an extended illness.
He was born Feb. 24, 1920, at Gilman, to William and Anna Decker Reitz. He married Mary Louise St. Peter on Nov. 8, 1941, at Gilman, and she survives.
Also surviving are three sons, James and Michael Reitz, Hillsdale and Robert Reitz of Florida; one daughter Marinna Carlies, Charleston, W. Va; his mother of Gilman; one grandson; one sister, Willadene Dillon, Mt. Vernon; and one brother, Wilbur Reitz, Clayton, Mich.
His father is deceased.
He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and the Elks and Moose lodges in Hillsdale. He operated a service station and auto parts store in Hillsdale and served with the US Navy during World War II.
The Rev. Father O'Gready will be the celebrant of the funeral mass at St. Anthony's Catholic Chrch. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be this afternoon and evening."
