In 1910 she and her parents and two of her siblings lived there. She married John Gilbert Bynum September 6, 1918.

In 1920 she and her husband lived on a farm they were renting in the same township.

In 1930 she and John and their two children lived on a farm they owned in the same township. They did not have a radio.

In 1940 she and her husband and their three children lived on a farm they were renting for six dollars a month in Lancaster Township, Wells County, IN.

BYNUM SERVICES HELD AT BLUFFTON

Funeral services were conducted Sunday at the Thoma Funeral Home in Bluffton for Mrs. Elizabeth Bynum, wife of John Gilbert Bynum, of that community. Burial was at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Bynum had been in failing health for some time and passed away at 12:30 o'clock Friday afternoon.
The deceased was born in the Park community here, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Denny, and is well remembered by local residents. She had resided in Bluffton for the past several years with her family.
Surviving are the husbands; two sons, Gilbert D. and Vernon L., and one daughter, Mrs. Jerry Markley, all of Bluffton; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Allen of Bloomfield and Mrs. Pert Garrett, of Pleasantville, and three grandchildren.
Mrs. Bynum's husband is a brother of Daniel A. Bynum and Miss Grace Bynum, of Bloomfield.
Attending the funeral services from Bloomfield were Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Bynum, Miss Grace Bynum, Mrs. Bessie Allen and Mr. and Mrs. Herschell McIntyre.
