He and Agnes Schumann were married 28 July 1961 at Harrold, Texas. He was a farmer and rancher.
Jeske earned an Associate degree at Tarleton State and attended North Texas State University.
He served as a director for the Red River Regional Water Board, FSA County Committee, Soil and Water Conservation; Farm Bureau, Co-Ag Cotton Gin, Baylor Water Supply Corporation, Steering Committee for the Texas Boll Weevil Eradication Foundation and Olney ISD Facilities Committee.
He was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church where he served as an elder and many other offices. He taught Sunday School and was a Bible class teacher.
Survived by his wife; three daughters - Charlotte Givhan and Diana Tubb, both of Olney, Cheryl Gretzner of Lubbock; two brothers - David G. Jeske of Mart and Phil B. Jeske of Olney; two sisters - Janice Gauger of Olney and Sandra Barr of Lombard, IL; three grandchildren.
