2nd Lt., Company E, 49th Regt. Georgia Inf. CSA- He served as a witness on application of Elisa Ellen McCartney of Wilcox County in her pension app. On application 187838-00780 he says he was a prisoner of war in Pt. Lookout , Md prison in April 1865 when the war ended.
