Everett Alford of 483 Cheshire Avenue, Eugene, died January 23, 1981. He was born September 12, 1893, in Harrisburg and had been a lifelong resident of this area. He was united in marriage April 11, 1917, in Eugene, to Addie L. Hatfield, who survives him. Father of Neal and Norman, both of Eugene, Enola Burke and Alvin, both of Springfield, Richard of Winchester Bay; brother of Clell of Portland, Ivan of Eugene, Bessie Matson of Eugene, Doris Tribble of Oakland, California; 13 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; numerous nieces and nephews. He was a longtime employee of the City of Eugene Maintenance Division, retiring in 1961. Graveside services will be held Monday, January 26, at 2:30 PM in West Lawn Memorial Park with Pastor Dan Quelio of Emmanus Lutheran Church officiating. Lounsbury-Musgrove Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
