Alma L. Alls 77, of R.R. 2, Edinburg, died at 4:25 p.m. Friday at the Dirksen House.
Born on April 3, 1911, in Christian County, she was the daughter of the late Ballard and Estella Gaines Alls. Before her retirement, she was a civilian secretary for the U.S. Air Force for many years in Washington, D.C., and later in San Antonio, Texas.
Preceding her in death were one brother, Emar, and five sisters, Mary E., Agnes, Edna, Myrtle and Ruth. Surviving are two sisters, Lalah Dennis of Springfield and Bernice Frank of Mechanicsburg; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Wilson Park Funeral Home, Rochester, with the Rev. Tim Dally officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill- Buckhart Cemetery.
