Son of Levi Locke Dolloff and Roxy Locke.

Died of Apoplexy.

Married 1 May 1850 New Hampshire to Nancy Simonds.

To their union was born 6 children:
Daniel Wilbur Dolloff, Ida May Dolloff, Roxie Maud Dolloff, Levi Manson Dolloff, Frank Daniel Dolloff, and Luey Solon Dolloff.

Solon was a school teacher in early manhood. After his marriage he lived in Bristol, Grafton, New Hampshire, then Franklin, Merrimack, New Hampshire, then returned to Bristol, Grafton, New Hampshire and purchased the Old Tom Locke Farm, a mile or more east of Central Square. Solon also kept a meat market in Bristol Village for many years till 1902. He was a Republican in politics and had served on the Board of Selectmen. He was also active in the Grange circles.
