Myrtle Heckman, 90, Pratt, died Friday evening at the Siesta Rest Home. She was a housewife.
Born July 20, 1887 in Nottinghill, Mo., she was married to Albert Piland, who precedes her in death in 1922. She later married Henry Heckman and he precedes her in death in 1951.
She is survived by: two sons, Robert Piland, Wasola, Mo. and Carl Piland, Pratt; one daughter, Mrs. Margie Davis, Great Bend; one sister, Mrs. Mary Trent, Noble, Mo.; 20 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren.
A member of the Church of Christ, she moved to Pratt in 1956 from Great Bend.
Services were 11:00 a.m. today in the Ayres-Calbeck Chapel with interment in the Greenlawn Cemetery. The Rev. Daniel Doty officiating. Arrangements are being made by Ayres-Calbeck Mortuary.
