Mr. Bertolino, who was born in New York, lived in Hemet 31 years. He worked in the warehouse for Union Carbide for 24 years.
He was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in Hemet.
Mr. Bertolino is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary; three sons, Charles, of Nuevo, Joseph, of Georgia, and Michael, of New York; and three grandchildren.
Services were private. Burial was in Desert Lawn Cemetery in Calimesa. Hemet Valley Mortuary handled arrangements.
