He was born October 14, 1918 in Baraboo, WI.
He resided in the Elgin-Plato Center area during his youth. He was a graduate of Plato Center High School.
Survivors include his loving wife, Luella Stevens; his children, Bruce (Nancy) Stevens, Jan (Dave) Linneen, and Nancy (Carl) Moser; his stepchildren, Rick (Judy) Nostrand and Bonnie (Peter) Rowland; thirteen grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was proceeded in death by his two wives, Dorothy Struck Stevens and Della Voigts; one stepson, Doug Nostrand.
Funeral services were held Saturday, January 13, 2001. Interment was at South Lawn Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
