GALION, Sept. 13--Mrs. Mary E. Cole, 81, of 239 Harding Way East died today at 7:15 am at her home following an illness which had confined her to bed nine months. She was born in York County Pa, Oct 3, 1850, daughter of Emanuel and Katherine (Sprenkle) HEIDLEBAUGH. Her first m. was to Emanuel HOOVER and seven children were born. Later she m. William COLE, who died Feb. 10, 1919. Four children were born to this union. Survivors include three daughters, Miss Harriet HOOVER of Galion, Mrs. Guy MORTON of Mt. Gilead and Mrs. Grant GIFFORD of Bellefontaine; five sons, Charles and Bert COLE of Galion, B.F. HOOVER of Bucyrus, E.E. HOOVER of Tiffin and H.H. HOOVER of Ashland; four sisters, Mrs. Agnes FEIGHT of Galion, Mrs. Susanna EMERSON of Akron, Mrs. Maurice JONES of Manatou Springs, CO. and Mrs. Avery CURTIS of North Baltimore; a brother William HEIDLEBAUGH of Des Moines, Ia; 16 grandchildren and-----
