Mr. Evelhock was a well known and esteemed citizen of Shippensburg for about 40 yers. He was born in Mifflin Township, November 23, 1870. A number of years ago he was an employee of the W.M.R.R. but for several years past worked at carpenter work.
He is survived by his aged mother, Mrs. Sarah Evelhock on East King Street, his wife [Henrietta Evelhoch], an three brothers and one sister, John of Freemont, Mich; George, Princeton, Ill.; Joshua Paxtonia and Mrs. C.D. Rider East King Street.
Funeral services with the Rev. J. Stewart Glen officiating, were held from his late home at 1:30 o'clock on Thursday afternoon and interment made in Prospect Hill cemetery, Newville.
