The sad and unexpected death of Mrs. Ernest Scott occurred October 30th 1915. Olleana Jensen was born in Freeborn County, Minnesota, October 19, 1881 where she grew to womanhood. She was united in marriage to Ernest Scott Feb 7, 1906 in Lime Creek, Minnesota and moved to Jerauld County, South Dakota, where she resided until her death.
To this union two children were born, LeRoy and LuVerne, aged seven, with together with his husband survive to mourn the loss of a loving wife and mother. She also leaves an aged mother, who lives in Emmons, Minnesota and three sisters, Mrs. John Berg of Emmons, Minnesota, Mrs. Ole DeButler of Liberty, North Dakota, and Mrs. Andrew Brekke of Lemmon, South Dakota., also a brother at Emmons, Minnesota.
She became a member of the United Methodist Church at the age of fourteen and was a member until her death. She was a true Christian, a loving wife and mother, devoted to her home and family. The remains are laid to rest in the local cemetery after funeral services conducted by Rev. Hargett.
