Mrs. Florence French, widow of C. Frank French, died at her home in Vine street, age 70 years, Wednesday morning, November 8th, 1933, from an illness of over two months. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 o'clock from the home of her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Murice Woodard, on East Ave., burial at Hunts Hollow cemetery. Rev F. C. will officiate. Mrs. French leaves four daughters, Mrs. Wm. Deuel, Mrs. Glen Woodard, Mrs. Murice Woodard of Naples, and Mrs. Albert Elder of Himrods; a number of grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; two brothers, Nelson Jennings of Hemlock, and Frank Jennings of Hunts Hollow; three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Greiner, Macedon, Mrs. Louis Cheney, Himrods, Mrs. D. M. Wyckoff, Richfield Springs. The deceased was the daughter of Thomas and Anne Wheat Jennings and was born in Hunts Hollow, September 26, 1863, and married C. Frank French, in which place they lived until the death of Mr. French, about thirteen years ago. Mrs. French was a member of the M. E. church and Fidelis class and the Naples Grange, and also was a practical nurse. She will be greatly missed by her family and the many friends.
